AEROSMITH's 'Let Rock Rule' Tour With SLASH Is Among Summer's Most Expensive Concert Tickets
May 7, 2014According to The Street, AEROSMITH's upcoming "Let Rock Rule" tour with Slash is among the most expensive summer concert tickets, with an average ticket price of $275.85. The most expensive show on the trek — which kicks off in July, playing 21 North American dates through September — comes in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with an average price of $385.24, 39.65% above the tour average.
Promoted exclusively by Live Nation, the "Let Rock Rule" tour kicks off on Thursday, July 10 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, New York.
AEROSMITH and Slash — longtime friends who've performed together throughout the years — will also take over Boston, Massachusetts (Xfinity Center); Los Angeles, California (The Forum); and San Francisco, California (Sleep Train Pavilion),among other cities, before wrapping Friday, September 12 in Sydney, NS, Canada (Open Hearth Park).
AEROSMITH's North American summer dates will follow the band's overseas dates, kicking off May 14 in Istanbul, Turkey and will hit 16 countries including stops in Russia, France, and the U.K. before wrapping July 2 in Kiev, Ukraine.
AEROSMITH released its first set of all-original material in 11 years, "Music From Another Dimension!", in 2012, and toured for much of the year after its release.
Slash recently completed work on his third solo album with his band MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS. The follow-up to 2012's "Apocalyptic Love" is expected to arrive in September.
